Tourism in Puerto Rico

Climatic and natural conditions of the island of Puerto Rico is similar to other islands of the Caribbean archipelago. Tourism in Puerto Rico is a mix of recreation on the beaches, diving and climbing in caves (here, the largest underground river of the world). Best season is from January to April. Ocean is quite friendly, offering it guest swimmers +25 C temperature, constantly blowing breeze – salubrious sea breeze.

All over the coast there are multiple resort towns and interesting spots. In the capital, San Juan, the most popular holiday in terms of Green Island (Isla Verde), with white sand and coconut palms. Not far from the capital is the best beach in the country – Likullo.

In all the resort areas of Puerto Rico there is a great opportunity for diving (underwater visibility in the Caribbean – 30 meters), but preferably all the same south shore, where the shelf forms a picturesque underwater wall. Different types of complexity are available for the diving (including night diving opportunities).
