San Diego Colleges and Universities

San Diego California is one of the most diverse cities in North America and is the oldest city in California. Being a coastal Metropolis, San Diego welcomes visitors to its beautiful beaches with a back drop of magnificent mountains and the border to Mexico. The Metropolitan area population is 1.3 million which makes San Diego the seventh largest city in the United States. The opportunities of a higher education and/or technical training for the work place is just as varied as its typography. A few of the university and college institutions are touched upon here.

 San Diego is a Roman Catholic, private, coeducational facility which was founded in 1949. The University is made up of the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business Administration, School of Education, Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science, Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies and School of Law. Alcala Park, the 180 acre campus, is 15 minutes from downtown San Diego and San Diego's airport.
The University of California in San Diego offers six undergraduate colleges. The Thurgood Marshall College, John Muir College, Revelle College, Roosevelt College, Sixth College and Warren College all offer general-education with choices in math,

social science, humanities, science and disciplinary breadth. Alliant International University has two campuses in San Diego and offers a wide range of bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs through their schools of Organizational Studies, Professional Psychology, Arts and Sciences, Graduate School of Education and United States International College of Business.
The National University in San Diego offers an accessible adult learning program to a diverse population. Point Loma Nazarene University was established in 1902, by the Church of the Nazarene, and offers liberal arts and professional programs at its main San Diego campus. San Diego State University
